Senior Process Development Engineer - Medical Devices (Contract)
Location: Co. Tipperary, Ireland Contract: 12+ months | Onsite minimum 4 days/week | 40 hours/week
About the Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Process Development Engineer to join their team on a long-term contract in Co. Tipperary. This is an exciting opportunity to work on advanced process development, particle size distribution analysis, and material science projects within the medical device sector.
Essential Requirements
Expertise in particle size distribution analysis and ensuring material consistency.
Strong skills in data interpretation and reporting of experimental results.
Proven experience in process development and manufacturing process optimisation in a regulated environment.
Solid knowledge of material science and its application in product performance.
Hands-on experience with IQ/OQ/PQ validation protocols and GMP compliance.
Level 8 Engineering degree or equivalent.
Minimum 5-6 years in medical device or pharmaceutical process development.
Desirable Requirements
Familiarity with metal additive manufacturing, 3D printing, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Advanced chemical analysis techniques for material characterisation.
Exposure to laser systems, CNC machining, and CAD/CAM tools.
Application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies for process optimisation.
Strong understanding of ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and quality systems compliance.
