About NDT Global

NDT Global is the leading provider of inline diagnostic solutions, advanced data insights, subsea inspection, and integrity management services that safeguard energy-sector infrastructure. The company is recognized for its expertise in both ultrasonic inspection technologies—such as Pulse Echo, Pitch-and-Catch, Phased Array, and Acoustic Resonance (ART Scan)—and ultra-high-resolution Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) inspection services. These differentiated offerings, along with non-ultrasonic technologies like Inertial Measurement Units and others in development, enable NDT Global to deliver comprehensive asset integrity solutions.

Innovation is at the core of NDT Global's mission. We continuously challenge the boundaries of existing technologies to deliver transformational solutions that empower the industry to achieve safer, more cost-effective pipeline management. Our commitment to research and development drives the creation of vital new methods and tools that address the evolving needs of our customers while setting new industry standards.

By strategically applying inspection technologies to detect, diagnose, and model various types of threats, NDT Global provides predictive, decision-ready insights. These insights, driven by the world’s most accurate data, enable asset owners to optimize infrastructure health, drive operational efficiencies, reduce risk, and minimize their carbon footprint

Purpose

The R&D Product & Delivery Lead is accountable for driving effective execution of R&D initiatives to directly support the organisation’s revenue growth and strategic objectives. The role ensures that R&D activities are clearly defined, prioritised, and delivered with consistency, predictability, and commercial alignment.

Key objectives of the role include improving delivery cadence, reducing time-to-market for revenue-generating solutions, and establishing dedicated ownership of day-to-day R&D execution. This is achieved through structured product definition, disciplined planning, and active delivery management across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Working closely with engineering discipline leads, the Technical Director, and portfolio leadership, the role provides hands‑on coordination and ownership of execution, ensuring that cross‑functional teams remain aligned, focused, and progressing against agreed priorities and milestones.

Responsibilities

* Product Definition & Delivery Execution
o Translate R&D roadmap initiatives into clear, structured project scopes, work breakdown structures (WBS), and actionable delivery plans.
o Define and prioritise tasks, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and business objectives.
o Own end-to-end delivery of R&D projects, maintaining momentum and ensuring consistent progress across multiple initiatives.
o Track delivery against milestones, proactively identifying risks, blockers, and dependencies.
o Coordinate cross-functional inputs (mechanical, electrical, software) to ensure integrated and aligned execution.
o Manage project-level budgets, resource requests, and delivery forecasts.
o Escalate risks and issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact on delivery.
* Project Support & Coordination
o Work closely with engineering discipline leads to align on resource needs, priorities, and delivery sequencing.
o Collaborate with the Technical Director to ensure initiatives remain aligned with technical strategy and roadmap objectives.
o Support portfolio-level planning by providing accurate delivery insights, timelines, and status updates.
o Facilitate regular project reviews, stand‑ups, and progress reporting to maintain delivery cadence and transparency.
o Ensure effective communication and coordination across all stakeholders involved in R&D delivery.
* Quality & Compliance
o Support to establish and maintain consistent delivery frameworks, tools, and ways of working across R&D projects.
o Ensure clear documentation of scope, plans, progress, and outcomes for all initiatives.
o Drive accountability for delivery timelines, outputs, and quality standards across cross‑functional teams.
o Support continuous improvement of R&D delivery processes, tools, and methodologies.
* Learning & Development
o Continuously develop expertise in product delivery, project structuring, and cross‑functional coordination.
* Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
o Adhere to HSE policies and procedures.

Competence requirements

* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Product Management, Business, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in project delivery, product development, or R&D environments.
* Strong ability to translate high-level concepts into structured plans, tasks, and deliverables.
* Experience managing cross‑functional engineering projects (mechanical, electrical, software).
* Proficiency with project management and delivery tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, or similar).
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non‑technical teams.
* Strong problem‑solving capability, particularly in identifying and resolving delivery risks and blockers.
* Familiarity with structured engineering project methodologies.
* Commercial awareness and understanding of how R&D activities contribute to revenue generation.
* Full benefits package effective immediately for employees and their dependents.
* Competitive pension matching program to secure your future.
* Flexible time options to suit your personal and professional needs.
* Supportive mentorship programs and career development opportunities.
* Ongoing training to keep your skills sharp and help you grow.
* Regular social events and programs to foster team spirit.
