About the job:
We are looking for an enthusiastic student to join our successful, well-established graduate program at General Mills from December 2025 for 12 months. You will have real responsibilities and the opportunity to contribute to value-added projects, learning from the very best minds in the industry and make an impact on some of the world's biggest brands. As well as the valuable work experience you will gain, you will be part of a group of interns working and learning together.
What your role is:
As a Supply Chain Graduate, you will support our growth and the agility required in our Supply Chain Team, working cross-functionally with General Mills markets, plants and operations business specialists.
* Own operational planning in week 5-13 and strategic planning from months 4-36
* Partner closely with markets, supply planners, plant and OBMs to understand levers and make decisions regarding supply chain and business trade-offs
* Run scenarios based on total capacity, net requirements, inventory targets, segmentation strategies, and volume plans across locations based on cost-benefit analysis
* Drive execution against selected supply plan scenarios that balance constraints in consideration of capacity, distribution requirements, and volume planning
* Partners with the business and plants to understand overall objectives and capacity and resource constraints, along with changes to network realities and footprint
* Partner with Logistics to support mid to long-term distribution strategies
* Support mid to long-term volume plans (production volume)
* Build annual supply strategies to meet financial, operational, & business targets of each market
* Monitor & drive improvement through KPI tracking to reconcile performance against plans to drive ongoing improvements in costs, time, capacity, and asset utilisation
What you will bring to the team:
* Achieved/completed a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management or a closely related subject
* Prior internship/work experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
* Strong learning agility and desire to work at pace
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong analytical skills and a strong commercial awareness
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is desired
* French language proficiency (preferred)
