Salary: Up to £80,000 depending on experience
The Company:
An innovative and fast-growing player in the compound semiconductor industry, this organisation is poised for expansion following a recent major investment from the UK Ministry of Defence. With a 10-year investment roadmap in place, the business is undergoing a significant transformation and is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead its IT evolution post-divestment from a parent company.
Job Description:

Managing and maturing the IT organisation with the capabilities required to deliver both the company's change agenda, as well as efficiently running and managing the existing technology environment (applications and infrastructure). This includes sourcing and managing third-party suppliers.

Developing, maintaining & evolving the company’s cybersecurity strategy, processes and countermeasures in line with industry best practice.

Building senior relationships across the organisation and the market to understand and shape business strategy, influence decision-makers and provide vision and leadership on how mature enterprise-scale and emerging technologies can transform the business model, products, risk profile and financial position.

Developing, maintaining and delivering an IT strategy and portfolio of initiatives aligned with the organisation's business strategy and objectives.

Leading and driving major technology-enabled transformation programs and advocating for re-shaping and re-engineering business practices (including developing an appropriate change management process) to achieve strategic business objectives (around growth, cost and risk) and improve the overall end user experience.
Requirements:

Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments
*
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics 365 F&O and SCM) and MES adoption
*
Exposure to post-divestiture IT reorganisation and scaling
*
Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or relevant advanced degrees
*
Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud transformation initiatives
