Guardware Business Development Manager (South of England)
Reporting to: Commercial Director/Marketing Manager

Salary: £30,000-40,000 basic (dependent on experience) – generous commission structure
Job type: Permanent (subject to a six-month probation period)
Holiday: 31 days including Bank Holidays (three days over Christmas mandatory) – increases after two and four-year intervals
Pension: 6% company contributions
Location: Must be within one hour of Haverhill, Suffolk (CB9 8QP) – southern-based rep role

Guardtech are a rapidly growing, thoughtfully evolving design & build company that produce high-quality, tightly controlled manufacturing facilities (cleanrooms) across the country for the Life Science sector for industries such as Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Automotive & Medical Device. The business is doubling in size year on year and is looking for highly dynamic, positive, driven individuals to join our team and share in our incredibly exciting journey.
Key responsibilities
* Sales of Cleanroom Furniture & Equipment, Isopod Rapid Cleanrooms, Cleanroom Service Plans, Decontamination Agreements, Cleanroom Validations, Cleanroom Servicing/PPM packages – covering the South of England territory
* Prospecting and developing new clients for an emerging division
* Receiving and responding to client RFQs for the above products and services – including international enquiries
* Developing the enquiry and expanding the client requirement (including potential installation)
* Liaising with supply chain and Guardware Manager for current product pricing and delivery pricing
* Producing accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQs)
* Preparing and issuing Guardware proposals and quotations
* Chasing and following up all proposals and quotations issued and managing HubSpot Deal through pipeline before closing out final outcome
* Handover of client-issued POs to Guardware Manager for invoicing and ongoing supply chain management
* Ensuring all sold products have client-approved drawings in place (where appropriate)
* Advising client of delivery date and communicating effectively with Guardware Manager and client to ensure a well-managed sale and delivery of goods to site
* Support in developing, populating and managing the Guardware website
* Client visits across South of England
* Filing, answering the phone, diary/HubSpot CRM management, administration duties
* Attendance of UK exhibitions (when required)
