Our client is a long-established UK manufacturer and supplier for the design and production of gearing systems and specialist gearboxes.
They are looking to hire a CNC Turner / Setter / Operator in their night shift team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set / Operate Mazak CNC Lathes.
* Cutting varying grades of mainly stainless and nitriding steels.
* Produce first-off components for inspection.
* Inspect components during production to ensure drawing / spec requirements are maintained.
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience with setting and operating Mazak CNC lathes.
* Mazatrol and Fanuc control experience.
* Be conversant with Mazak Matrix & Smooth Controls.
* Be able to read and interpret Engineers’ drawings and tolerances.
* Be able to use a wide range of different measuring devices and inspection techniques.
