Job description
There are two positions available
About the role:
To work as part of a team assisting in the delivery of the Councils Responsive Maintenance Service by carrying out repair and maintenance work on domestic dwellings and related assets. This includes work normally accepted within the building industry as that of a Carpenter as well as work which by “normal definition” is that of other trade(s) which may reasonably be expected of any competent person engaged in building maintenance activities.
About you:
• Level 2 carpenter
• Full driving licence
What you will do:
Attend properties where repair issues have been reported or identified, consider what is necessary and proportionate in the circumstances, determine the appropriate remedial works necessary, order materials and complete the work as required and convey this information to
the coordinating team.
