If you love helping others and want to be part of something that truly makes a difference, this is the perfect place for you. ​ Branch Manager – A Good Place to Be Location: Saxmundham Branch, IP17 1DD & Aldeburgh Branch, IP15 5AR Salary: £30,030.00 - £35,035.00 per annum Great Benefits Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 4.45pm (30-35 hours a week). Conduct regular compliance checks and ensure all team members are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to perform their roles effectively. ​ What You’ll Do: • Ensure your branch team provide an outstanding, friendly, and professional experience to all members. • Train and develop all branch colleagues to ensure they have the skills, knowledge, and confidence to meet the requirements of all customers, the expectations of the Society and the requirements of the Risk Management framework. • Plan and delivery effective day-to-day operations for the branch ensuring all colleagues are productive and motivated throughout the working day. • Support weekly training sessions, liaising with Regional Managers and other Branch Managers to ensure this covers both routine and specific branch requirements as well as wider training developed across the Society. • Be responsible for opening and closing of the branch and end of day balancing. •Lead your team by undertaking people leader activities for the Member Assistants in your branch, including recruitment, return to work interviews, annual appraisal reviews, and development conversations. •Support local community initiatives and charity programs. •Work collaboratively with your team to create a positive and inclusive workplace. ​ What We’re Looking For •A passion for helping people and delivering excellent service. • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively train and support staff members. •The ability to embrace new technologies and digital tools to enhance service delivery. • A Strong decision making and problem-solving skills. •A positive, team-oriented mindset. ​ What’s in It for You? •26 days annual leave bank holidays • Permanent Health Insurance (after 2 years’ service) • Pension scheme with free pension advice • Private medical cover •Life insurance & wellness programs • Healthcare cash plan & retailer discounts •Success-Sharing Bonus (discretionary) • Free uniform •Opportunities to volunteer & support local charities ​ Join Us – Be Part of Something Bigger At Suffolk Building Society, we’re all about real people, real values, and real impact.
