Join our team in Seahouses as a General Assistant in our busy butchery, where we prepare quality meats for our local pubs and valued customers. This is a seasonal role, ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience over the summer period. No previous experience is needed; we provide full training to help you get started and succeed.
You'll Fit Right Inn
* You can remain calm and focused in busy or high-pressure situations, with strong workload prioritisation skills.
* You have clear and confident communication skills.
* You are a strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
* You demonstrate reliability by being dependable and consistent in your work and commitments.
Responsibilities
* Cut meat accurately and efficiently as needed.
* Take personal responsibility for following all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and hygienic workspace.
* Your uniform is provided to help you be prepared; wearing it ensures safety and professionalism.
* Keep your work area clean and organized at all times.
* Package and label cuts of meat carefully and correctly.
* Cut, grind, and prepare meat products ready for delivery.
* Clean and maintain tools and equipment to the highest standards.
* Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to protect quality and safety.
