As consistently one of the highest performing schools in the region, Stradbroke combines high academic standards with high levels of pastoral care. We provide a wide ranging co-curricular programme and proudly fulfil SET’s vision of providing a world class education locally. We aim to be a centre of excellence for learning and teaching, where all students achieve the highest standards in their education, their personal development, their behaviour and conduct. Our latest Ofsted inspection in Nov 2023, was ungraded but reported we were “likely to be outstanding” on a graded inspection. The school caters for students of all abilities from its local community, including those with SEND. Due to an increase in the number students in the school who require additional support we are looking to increase our Teaching Assistant (TA) staffing. You would be mainly classroom based supporting students to access their learning but would also potentially work with small groups to complete tailored interventions. The SEND Department plays a crucial role in the success of students and therefore a commitment to wider opportunities such as attending trips or being a first aider would be an advantage.
