Document Controller | Main Contractor | Northampton | £30,000 - £40,000
Let's be honest. Most Document Controller adverts say exactly the same thing.
Manage drawings. Control documents. Maintain registers. You already know all that.
What matters is the business you will be joining.
This is an opportunity to join an established and growing main contractor that has built a reputation for delivering high-quality projects and developing long-term relationships with clients. With a healthy pipeline of work and continued growth plans, they are looking to strengthen their project support team with a Document Controller who enjoys bringing structure, organisation and control to busy construction projects.
Working closely with operational and commercial teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring project information is accurate, accessible and properly managed throughout the project lifecycle.
What you'll be doing:
* Managing project documentation through Procore, including drawings, RFIs, technical submissions and project correspondence.
* Maintaining document registers and ensuring the latest revisions are issued to the right people at the right time.
* Supporting site and office teams with document control processes and information management.
* Monitoring workflows and ensuring project records remain accurate and compliant.
* Assisting with project handovers and maintaining a clear audit trail throughout delivery.
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience as a Document Controller within a construction environment.
* Strong working knowledge of Procore.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Confidence working with multiple stakeholders across live projects.
* A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of your area of responsibility
You'll be joining a business where your role genuinely matters. The project teams rely heavily on accurate information, and you'll be working in an environment where good systems, good communication and good people are valued.
The business offers a supportive culture, modern ways of working and genuine opportunities to develop as the company continues to grow.
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
