BuytoGive is a new kind of online marketplace where every purchase generates a donation to a cause chosen by the buyer. We're on a mission to disrupt traditional fundraising and bring giving into everyday shopping.
The Role
We're looking for a proactive Content & Marketing Lead to join us on a freelance basis for the first three months, with the potential to grow into an ongoing role. You'll be responsible for shaping and delivering our content strategy, directing our Social Media Executive, and ensuring our story reaches charities, customers, and the wider public.
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver a consistent content plan (posts, campaigns, videos, outreach).
Direct and support our Social Media Executive to keep campaigns on brand and effective.
Create engaging content that communicates clearly with:
Charities – highlighting fundraising benefits of joining BuytoGive.
Shoppers – encouraging people to shop through BuytoGive instead of Amazon or eBay.
Work alongside our video editor and graphic designer to produce high-quality campaigns.
Suggest and implement creative outreach initiatives to grow awareness and engagement.
Maintain a consistent, compelling brand voice across all channels.
About You
Strong background in content creation, digital marketing, or communications.
Confident in directing and guiding others.
Results-driven with an understanding of how to grow reach and engagement.
Ability to tell a story and get people interested in a mission.
Experience in charity, e-commerce, or purpose-driven marketing is a bonus (but not essential).
