Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Redhill (Hybrid – up to 2 days per week following induction)
Salary: £42,000 – £52,000 plus 5% performance bonus (may be higher for the right candidate)
Hours: 8‑hour shift between 8 am – 6 pm, with flexibility for out‑of‑hours work when required
Type: Hybrid Working – up to two days per week after office‑based induction
Reporting to: Senior Project Technician

The Role
As an Infrastructure Engineer you will maintain, support and improve hosting and cloud platforms, ensuring high availability and excellent performance for customers. Your work will span virtualisation, storage, networking and cloud services, collaborating closely with senior technicians, project teams and support engineers.
What You’ll Do
* Support and maintain core infrastructure, including servers, storage and virtualisation environments.
* Manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and related identity and access services.
* Monitor system performance, capacity and uptime and resolve alerts and incidents efficiently.
* Assist with system upgrades, patching and scheduled maintenance tasks.
* Deploy and configure virtual machines, storage and network components.
* Collaborate with project teams to support customer migrations and onboarding.
* Maintain detailed technical documentation and update configuration records (CMDB).
* Troubleshoot complex issues across hardware, software and networking layers.
* Participate in out‑of‑hours maintenance windows when required.
* Contribute to continuous improvement through process automation and documentation.
