The company produces complex, high-precision components for industries including Formula One, aerospace and military applications, machining a wide range of metals to extremely tight tolerances. * Program, Set and operate CNC lathes running Fanuc controls.
* Load programmes, set tooling and adjust offsets to achieve correct dimensions.
* Produce high-precision turned components in a range of metals.
* Work to tight tolerances and complex geometries from detailed drawings.
* Perform first-off and in-process inspections, maintaining quality throughout the batch.
* Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and right-first-time output.
* Work closely with production, programming and quality teams.
* Keep machines and work area clean, safe and well organised.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and cycle times.
