Based at Ashfield Fire Station with travel across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire
Are you a committed youth or community worker or volunteer with a passion to make a difference with communities? Do you have the skills, experience and good understanding/knowledge of the cultural/religious barriers to reach underrepresented communities in accessing services and jobs?
We want to make sure our services and roles are accessible and understood by all so we are seeking a Community Engagement Worker to work alongside Firefighters and Community Engagement Officers already in the Community Safety Team. This varied and public focused role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to make a significant impact in our communities by partnering with community organisations to deliver support to both vulnerable and underrepresented groups. The role will facilitate Have a Go Days to support recruitment and they will deliver events and careers fairs.
