We're looking for a Quality Engineer to join a well-established composites manufacturer based in Poole. This is a full-time, permanent role working on-site. You'll play a key part in making sure products meet customer standards, leading quality checks, solving problems, and improving processes.
Salary: From 45,000 per year
Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 8am - 5pm
* Friday: 8am - 2pm
* On-site only
* DBS check required
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with Engineering and Production to plan and manage quality checks.
* Make sure customer quality standards are understood and followed.
* Lead quality inspections and sign off on finished products.
* Manage and fix any issues with product quality.
* Carry out First Article Inspections (FAIRs) to customer or AS9102 standards.
* Review and report on quality data to improve processes.
* Ensure the business follows ISO 9001 standards.
* Manage and support a Quality Inspector on your team.
What We're Looking For
* AS9100 experience required
* Experience in a manufacturing quality role (composites is a plus).
* Able to read technical drawings and use inspection tools.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001, 5S, Lean, and root cause analysis.
* Confident with Microsoft Office and working under pressure.
* Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
* CQI qualification is a bonus.
