About the Role
Youll take responsibility for generating the right level of enquiries and opportunities to ensure the region meets its turnover targets. The role includes both new business development and account management, working closely with operational teams, bid teams, supply chain partners and long standing clients.
You will
Develop new business across local authorities, housing associations, education, health, retail and commercial sectors
Manage and grow existing client relationships across Edinburgh and Fife
Track performance against targets and create action plans where needed
Attend networking events, industry meetings and client visits
Provide accurate pipeline updates using the ERP system
Support bid submissions with timely and accurate information
Contribute to marketing activity including social updates and case studies
Maintain strong relationships with supply chain partners such as Dulux, Crown and PPG
What Youll Need
Proven experience in business development and account management
Experience selling services into public sector or commercial clients
Strong relationship building and communication skills
Understanding of pipeline management and sales reporting
Ability to manage multiple clients and projects at pace
Full UK driving licence
Location
This role covers Fife and Edinburgh, with a base at the Newhouse office (ML1 postcode area) and regular travel across the region.
