Overview
Apply today and interview tomorrow; this is weekend work in Worksop with immediate start opportunities. You will support elderly service users to make a difference and bring a smile to those in need.
If you have a keen eye for detail and experience in a care setting, this flexible opportunity may be ideal for you. You will work alongside established teams to provide excellent care to individuals who need it most. Service users may have dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease, strokes, and other age-related illnesses and mobility issues.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility/ moving and handling, nutrition, and hygiene.
* Be proactive in supporting people with dementia and maintain an awareness and passion for working with vulnerable individuals.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Safeguarding training within 1 year
* Infection Control training within 1 year
* Moving and Handling training within 1 year
* A DBS check for adult’s services dated within the last 12 months, preferably on the update service
* A minimum of 3 months experience in a Health and Social Care environment
QS Care can provide training opportunities for candidates with expired training. They can also arrange a DBS application on behalf of the candidate if the last check was more than 1 year ago and is not on the update service.
Schedule and Pay
* This is a role with ongoing hours
* Weekend shifts: Saturdays or Sundays
* Typical hours: 07:00 – 14:15 and 14:00 – 22:00
* Pay: £12.75 per hour
