Job Title: Property Maintenance Assistant
Reporting to: General Manager
Working Hours: 40 Hours per week - flexible
Salary: £12.21 - £16.00 per hour dependent upon experience
Location: H E Services (Plant Hire) Depot - North Road, Okehampton
Purpose
You will be based at our depot in Okehampton, Devon and will be required to assist with, and also be directly responsible for, a diverse range of tasks. We work as a team and it is important that you are prepared to work in a team environment where working together and supporting others in their work is essential.
Formal qualifications are not required, but we will expect you to be able to demonstrate an aptitude for these types of tasks and also some relevant work experience. Most importantly, we are seeking an individual with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
* Working on a variety of property and machinery maintenance tasks to include:
* Cutting and chipping wood
* Landscaping on site
* Roof repairs and maintenance
* General labouring
* Window repairs and maintenances
* Simple plumbing repairs and maintenance
* Other work as directed by the General Manager
Qualifications
* Dedicated and hard working
* Experience of property maintenance and/or ground care work
* An aptitude for working with machinery
* Full UK driving licence

* Monday to Friday
* Overtime
* Weekend availability
