Part-Time Admin Assistant | Office-Based | Accountancy Practice | Thornaby-on-Tees

Looking for a part-time job that fits around school hours – and puts your organisation skills to good use?

We’re a friendly, growing accountancy practice based in Thornaby-on-Tees, and we’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Admin Assistant to join our office-based team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to return to work or balance work with family commitments, in a supportive and professional environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

•Greeting clients for in-office appointments with warmth and professionalism

•Onboarding new clients – sending welcome packs, collecting key information, and ensuring all setup steps are complete

•Registering clients for taxes including VAT, PAYE, Self Assessment, and Corporation Tax

•Handling incoming calls and emails

•Managing diaries and scheduling meetings

•Filing, scanning, data entry, and maintaining up-to-date client records

•Providing general admin support to the wider team

What We’re Looking For:

•Previous admin or office experience (accountancy or professional services is a bonus)

•Strong communication and organisational skills

•Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

•Professional, friendly manner with a focus on client care

•Ability to handle confidential information with care
