Were excited to share that we are now looking for a highly capable and motivated operations & events manager to join our small, ambitious team and play a pivotal role in driving the business forward.
About the Role This is a key hire, working closely with the Head of Events and Event Manager to ensure every event runs like clockwork, from planning and logistics to budgeting, staffing, and on-the-day delivery. Youll be the operational backbone of the business: managing timelines, systems, resources, events, and people, with precision and care.

Youll be as comfortable managing spreadsheets and supplier timelines as you are on-site ensuring every element is executed with flair and professionalism.
This is a hands-on role for someone who brings energy, organisation, and problem-solving into every room. Youll need to be adaptable, proactive, and confident wearing multiple hats, whether it's overseeing a van load-in, liaising with clients, or refining our internal processes for growth.
Key Responsibilities
Event Operations & Logistics Support and own the end-to-end operational delivery of events, from pre-production through to breakdown, you will be required to manage events on-site too
Lead on staffing organisation & systems, from booking in systems, to staff management and payments
Supplier coordination - supporting the events team with hire, booking in & supplier communication. Creating supplier packs & manuals for events
Transport logistics for events, collecting vans & arranging transport
Build and manage robust project timelines and run sheets using Notion
Continuously optimise our systems, tools, and ways of working to improve efficiency and clarity
Liaise with venues, freelancers, and suppliers to coordinate kit, equipment, and deliveries
Client & Sales Support Support the team with sales, prospecting, and tendering for large venues
Support the team with enquiry responses, inbox management, and client communications
Assist with quoting, costings, and proposal development
Attend site visits and client meetings as needed
Host tastings in the kitchen
Team & Resource Management Recruit, schedule, and manage freelance teams, particularly during peak seasons
Maintain and improve our BOH (back-of-house) systems and storage inventory
Oversee transport, event kit prep, and post -event returns with accuracy and foresight
Budgeting & Process Development Lead on budget tracking and cost-efficiency, ensuring events stay within scope.
Every large-scale event we do, manage the budget & P+L
Identify and implement improvements across staffing, supply, and logistics workflows
Help develop and implement SOPs to streamline recurring processes and support team growth
Compliance & Risk Management Ensure all events meet food hygiene, health & safety, and licensing regulations
Carry out risk assessments and lead pre-event safety briefings
About You Youre highly organised, calm under pressure, and a natural problem-solver.
You have 2 years previous experience in operations & logistics, ideally with a background in catering, events, or hospitality.
Youre systems-minded, confident in managing budgets, schedules, and people.
You care about visual detail and understand what makes an experience feel elevated.
Youre collaborative, practical, and always ready to roll up your sleeves.
Key attributes
Driving license for the UK is essential & you must be confident driving a van to & from events
Lives in London (we are located in East London)
Must be open to evening work & weekend work (you receive time back fairly in lieu)
Tech whizz, especially with sheets

Experience in hospitality/ catering/ food events
Someone who LOVES the industry
2-3 years experience in a similar role
Obsessed with detail, logistics & planning
Great aesthetic eye and understanding of client briefs
