Key Details
Location: Gerrards Cross
Hours: 40 hours per week (some flexibility available)
Your Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of the Mechanical Electrical and Technology team, focusing on compliant designs for the wastewater network. Your role will primarily involve:
* Planning, organizing, and overseeing tasks to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery
* Collaborating with engineers, designers, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination
* Ensuring compliance with relevant design codes, regulations, and industry standards
* Promoting sustainable design solutions and resolving technical challenges
* Maintaining regular communication with senior management regarding output, progress, costs, and risks
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* A degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, and are working towards professional membership (ICE, IMechE, IET, or similar)
* A solid understanding of water network design (both wastewater and clean) and the ability to produce compliant designs
* Experience with industry-standard design software and a track record of driving sustainable performance
