This a temporary role for 2 years, however there is the possibility of it being extended beyond this point in the future.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
* Help establish and maintain effective project and programme processes
* Coordinate activity across internal teams, external stakeholders and partners
* Maintain project documentation (plans, risk registers, trackers, reports)
* Collate, analyse, and present data to support decisions and cost reduction
* Monitor outcomes, performance, and cost avoidance activity
* Prepare high-quality reports, briefings, and presentations
* Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro‑rated for part‑time roles and arrangements are at manager's discretion; alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject (or equivalent)
*
o Supporting the development and monitoring of plans and project documentation
o Undertaking research, gathering information and analysis
o Working with competing demands and pressures
o Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
