We are seeking an experienced Traffic Management Operative to become a Traffic Management Supervisor to support daily operations, workforce mobilisation and compliance across multiple Traffic Management teams.
This is a hands-on, busy & often hectic role ideal for a qualified 12D Operative looking to step into greater Supervisory responsibilities.
Responsibilities will include:
Workforce Mobilisation
* Mobilise operatives each morning for scheduled works
* Ensure crews are briefed and ready for deployment
* Monitor Vehicle Compliance each morning
* Monitor site compliance each day
Programming & Scheduling
* Assist with job scheduling to ensure efficient delivery
* Liaise with Area Manager to manage workflow
Compliance & Auditing
* Support the Area Manger with compliance activities
* Conduct desktop audits and site audits
* Ensure works meet regulatory and safety standards
* Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation
Site Support & Issue Resolution
* Respond to on-site queries from Operatives
* Troubleshoot operational and logistical issues
* Implement solutions to keep works running smoothly
* Escalate risks or delays where required
What we are looking for:
* 12D LANTRA Qualifications – M1/M2, M5, M6 (deal-breaker)
* Minimum 3 years' traffic management experience (deal-breaker)
* Current UK Driving Licence (deal=-breaker)
* Computer literate
* Punctual and reliable
