o Umbrella: £67/hr
o PAYE: £49.14/hr + £7.14 holiday pay
* Location: Huddersfield
* Clearance: SC required – British nationals only
Overview
Morson is currently recruiting a Senior Manufacturing Engineer on behalf of our defence client in Huddersfield. This role will support manufacturing and assembly operations, providing technical expertise across complex, precision-engineered components within a regulated defence environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to manufacturing and assembly teams
2. Act as the interface between manufacturing, assembly, and engineering functions
3. Lead PFMEAs, including process mapping, risk mitigation, and procedure development
4. Support design reviews with a focus on manufacturability and right-first-time delivery
5. Develop and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and methods in line with safety regulations
