Offer description

The Alcohol & Drug Service (ADS) is a registered charity that has been transforming the lives of people affected by drugs and alcohol misuse for over 40 years. Aspire is a partnership between ADS and Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH). It combines the strengths of NHS provision, under the leadership of a consultant, with the voluntary sector provided by ADS. The partnership has worked together for over 20 years, providing Drug and Alcohol Services to local communities. It is a forward-thinking and innovative partnership that works closely with recovery communities to provide flexible, responsive services aimed at achieving the best outcomes for service users and the community. It is an exciting time to work in this field, with new career opportunities emerging.

Main duties of the job

The criminal justice team supports individuals involved in the judicial system, helping them lead meaningful lives. This team collaborates closely with courts, probation, and prisons to support and guide individuals away from crime and offending, often linked to addiction issues.

If you are a qualified and registered Social Worker with experience or interest in working with substance users, we would like to hear from you. For newly qualified Social Workers, we support the ASYE programme.

To arrange an informal discussion, contact Louise Braisby or Phil Scales at 0300 021 3900.

Please Note: The successful candidate must have the right to work in the UK by the start of employment.
