This is a full-time, on-site role supporting children and young people who may have experienced trauma, neglect, or disrupted family lives. You'll help create a safe, stable, and supportive environment where they can grow, develop, and thrive.
Your Role Will Include:
* Providing day-to-day care, support, and encouragement to children and young people
* Promoting emotional wellbeing, resilience, and positive relationships
* Supporting children with daily routines, activities, education, and appointments
* Managing challenging behaviours with patience and understanding
* Maintaining a safe and nurturing home environment that meets individual needs
* Working closely with colleagues, social workers, and external professionals
What We're Looking For:
* A genuine passion for working with children and young people
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Emotional resilience and a calm, consistent approach
* Experience in a care setting or with children is ESSENTIAL-full training will be provided
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
