A highly respected manufacturing business based in Lowestoft is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join their finance team. About the Role:In this pivotal role, you will support the manufacturing site with timely and accurate financial analysis, partnering with operational teams to provide insight into performance and support informed decision-making. You’ll play a key part in the preparation of weekly and monthly reporting, variance analysis, planning and forecasting.
· Key responsibilities include:
· Producing weekly KPI reports and variance analysis (e.g., production volumes, labour costs, fixed costs, transfer pricing)
· Monthly/quarterly close of management accounts, accruals and journals
· Supporting budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning
· Maintaining and updating transfer pricing data
· Developing financial models and simulations to assess "what-if" scenarios
· Improving data governance and reporting standards across the site
· Assisting in audit and compliance, including SOX control environment
About You:We are looking for someone with a sharp commercial mind, excellent attention to detail, and a natural ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
· Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE
· At least 3 years of experience in a financial reporting or forecasting role
· Strong Excel and analytical skills, with experience in SAP (S4 Hana)
· Familiarity with business intelligence tools and visualisation software
· Ideally, experience in a manufacturing or supply chain finance environment
