Position Overview:
We are seeking a highlyskilled and experienced Merger and Acquisition Expert to lead andoversee strategic M&A initiatives in the renewable energy sector. Theideal candidate will have a deep understanding of renewable energymarkets, financial analysis, deal structuring, and integrationprocesses. You will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating,negotiating, and executing transactions that align with ourorganization’s growth and sustainability goals.
KeyResponsibilities:
* Strategic Planningand Market Analysis
* Conduct in-depth market research toidentify trends, opportunities, and potential targets within therenewable energy industry.
* Develop and execute M&A strategiesthat align with the company’s objectives for growth andsustainability.
* Deal Origination and Evaluation
* Identify potential M&A targets, partnerships, and jointventures in the renewable energy space.
* Perform rigorousfinancial modeling, valuation, and due diligence on potential deals.
* Evaluate risks, synergies, and the strategic fit ofacquisition opportunities.
* Negotiation and DealStructuring
* Lead negotiations to structure deals thatmaximize value for the organization.
* Collaborate with legal,tax, and financial advisors to ensure compliance and optimaltransaction outcomes.
* Integration and Post-MergerManagement
* Oversee post-merger integration to achievestrategic objectives and operational synergies.
* Coordinatecross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of assets,technology, and personnel.
* Stakeholder Engagement andReporting
* Communicate effectively with internal andexternal stakeholders, including C-suite executives, investors, andregulatory authorities.
* Prepare detailed reports andpresentations for executive decision-making and board review.
Requirements:
* At least 5 yearsin renewable asset transaction(PV/solar), with proven track record ofsuccessful investment or divestment.
* Familiar with renewableenergy life cycle, especially on development stage up to RTB
* Located in Europe/UK, ideally London or Germany
* Familiar with financial model. Fund raising and projectfinancing is a plus.
* Preferred background: fund, developer
* Proficiency in English. Chinese is a plus.
