We are seeking a highly skilled and commercially minded Corporate Legal Executive to serve as the Negotiation Lead within our clients Legal team. This role is central to managing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, ensuring legal compliance, and mitigating risks across the business. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, external partners, and senior management to drive efficient contract execution and safeguard the company's interests. Key Responsibilities Lead the review, drafting, and negotiation of a variety of commercial agreements including supplier, partnership, confidentiality, licensing, and service contracts. Collaborate with business development, finance, and operations teams to align contract terms with business objectives. Serve as the primary point of contact for contract negotiation, balancing commercial priorities with legal protection. Identify and mitigate potential legal and commercial risks in contractual relationships. Ensure all agreements comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Support implementation of compliance frameworks and internal governance policies. Provide timely and pragmatic legal advice to internal stakeholders at all levels. Communicate complex legal issues clearly and concisely to non-legal audiences. Facilitate contract approval workflows and maintain consistent documentation standards. Contribute to the development of contract management tools, templates, and playbooks. Support initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and transparency of legal operations. Education & Qualification: Qualified Legal Executive (CILEx), Solicitor, or equivalent legal qualification. Minimum 3-5 years' experience in commercial law, preferably within a corporate or in-house environment. Demonstrable experience leading contract negotiations and advising business stakeholders. Strong drafting and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities. Proven ability to balance commercial acumen with sound legal judgment. Familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems and compliance processes is an advantage.
