We require strong understanding of ATM architectures, including Surveillance, Radar, ADS-B, Voice Communications, Data Processing, and Flight Data Systems. We require experience working in safety-critical and regulated aviation environments. We require knowledge of ICAO, EUROCONTROL, EASA, or UK CAA regulatory frameworks. We require a systems engineering background; an INCOSE-aligned approach is desirable. We require the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and operational stakeholders. We prefer experience supporting Airspace Modernisation or ATM transformation programmes. We prefer familiarity with networked ATM systems and software integration. We prefer safety assessment experience, including FHA, PSSA, and SSA. We prefer experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering tools. Responsibilities: We apply systems engineering principles across the full lifecycle, including Concept, Requirements, Design, Integration, Verification & Validation, and Acceptance. We develop and manage system requirements, including operational, functional, and performance-based requirements. We support system architecture definition across ATM and CNS domains. We contribute to safety assessments and regulatory compliance documentation. We support integration and testing of ATM systems within operational environments. We engage with operational stakeholders, regulators, and programme teams. We produce high-quality technical documentation in line with aviation standards.
