The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join a growing supply chain function at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Dundee.
This role supports the supply planning process by translating customer demand into executable production and material plans, ensuring products are delivered on time and in full. The position sits at the interface between customers, manufacturing, procurement and logistics teams, helping maintain efficient inventory management and production flow.
You will play an important role in supporting the Master Production Schedule (MPS), managing inventory visibility, and resolving supply constraints to ensure customer commitments are met.
Key Responsibilities
Support Supply Planners in delivering strong customer service through effective finished goods planning and on-time delivery performance
Assist with interpretation and validation of customer forecasts and order processing
Create and maintain customer inventory reconciliation reports to ensure alignment on supplied materials
Monitor, process and execute supplier and customer chargebacks where required
Maintain and review Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) parameters to reflect current demand and supply plans
Support scheduling of material deliveries across raw materials, excipients, packaging and labelling components
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure manufacturing materials are delivered on time
Produce inventory performance reports to optimise stock levels and minimise obsolescence
Support Supply Chain activities within New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, including product extensions and packaging updates
Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Quality and Technical teams to ensure smooth material flow across the site
Qualifications
GCSE / Standard Grade education (or equivalent) required
Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics or related discipline advantageous but not essential
Experience & Skills
Experience within a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, life sciences or regulated environment preferred
Strong organisational and planning capability
Ability to prioritise workload within a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving
Ability to work effectively to deadlines and see tasks through to completion
