A growing Geotechnical Consultancy, working on sustainable design and threatening to change the look of retaining wall solutions across the country is looking for an experienced Geotechnical Design Engineer.
The organisation in question is growing rapidly and has developed its own sustainable solutions, providing green spaces that would have, in years gone by, been grey!
If you are a Geotechnical Engineer, with experience in the design of retaining walls and foundations then this could be the next step in a highly rewarding career.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Geotechnical Design Engineer:
* Liaising with both clients and internal teams for feasibility studies
* Mentoring and guiding more junior members of staff
* Leading the design work for multiple nationwide projects
* Some on site testing and investigation when required
* Working with leadership to develop and expand the geotechnical services offered to clients
Qualifications
Requirements of the Geotechnical Engineer:
* In depth understanding of British Standards and Eurocodes
* Degree or equivalent in Geotechnical Engineering/Geology
* Chartered or pursuing chartership
* Detailed knowledge of geotechnical design software and AutoCAD
* Previous experience in a client facing role
