About the role
As our Admin Assistant-International Affairs, you’ll provide administrative, logistical and coordination support to our International Affairs team, helping them to deliver impactful work across global policy and UN engagement.
This is a varied role that combines day to day administrative support, with exposure to international policy work, including communications, intelligence gathering and high-level event coordination.
Responsibilities
As our Admin Assistant, you’ll be responsible for:
* Providing administrative support including procurement, correspondence, expenses and document preparation
* Supporting diary coordination and scheduling to ensure priorities are managed effectively
* Assisting with policy monitoring and intelligence gathering across international processes
* Drafting and editing communications such as briefings, op-eds and event summaries
* Coordinating meetings, events and high-level engagement activities
* Managing travel arrangements and logistics for the team
* Acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
* Supporting procurement processes and project administration
About you
To succeed in this role, you’ll need be highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities and support a fast-paced, internationally focused team.
You’ll be confident working with senior stakeholders and comfortable contributing to both operational and policy-related activities.
Skills and experience you’ll need to bring
* Proven experience in administration, diary management and event coordination
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work proactively with minimal supervision
* Experience supporting senior stakeholders in a professional environment
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Experience coordinating logistics and managing travel arrangements
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
* A collaborative, flexible and solutions-focused approach
