SEND Primary Care Worker - Northwood - Immediate Start!
We have an opportunity for a Care Worker for a SEND Primary School in the Northwood area. The school caters exclusively to SEND pupils with PMLD. This is a full time role, Mon to Fri 8:30am to 4:00pm.
Prior experience working with children or PMLD preferred but must have worked with children in the UK
About the role : As a SEND Care Worker you will:
* Provide dedicated, one-on-one support to children with special educational needs (SEN) and PMLD as a Care Support Worker.
* Assist children during therapy sessions, helping them engage and benefit from the experience.
* Help prepare learning resources and activities to support students' educational development.
* Be proactive in addressing and supporting the individual needs of each student.
Qualifications / What We're Looking For
* Able to start immediately as a SEND Primary Care Support Worker
* Hold a Child-Only DBS or be willing to apply for one
* Have prior experience working with SEND children, demonstrating an understanding of their needs.
* Live in or have reliable transportation to commute to the Northwood area.
