JM Workforce Services are currently working with a well-respected and emerging Children's Social Care provider based in Nottinghamshire to recruit a Team Leader / Senior Residential Support Worker for a new Children's home provider.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Team Leader / Senior Residential Support Worker to lead shifts and ensure the highest standards of care for children in a residential setting. The role involves planning and managing shifts, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, and providing leadership and support to the care team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, manage, and lead shifts, ensuring children are kept safe and engaged.
*
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children in our care at all times.
*
Be flexible, consistent, reflective, and creative in your engagement with the young people.
*
Sleep overnight at the home as required.
*
Work flexibly, including office hours, early mornings, late nights, regular weekends, and bank holidays.
*
Ensure shifts are planned with Residential Support Workers.
*
Manage all risks in line with company policies and procedures.
*
Communicate effectively with the team regarding daily plans.
*
Provide reports and documentation reflecting the progress of the young people using paperless systems.
*
Attend staff meetings and proactively develop and improve the service model.
Job Requirements:

Level 3/4 in Residential Childcare (Essential)
*
Full UK Driving License (Essential)
*
Clean DBS
Compensation and Benefits:
*
Competitive salary - £28,000 - £32,000 annually, plus sleep-in allowance

Generous remuneration for sleep-in shifts
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and qualified candidate to join our clients team in one of their children's residential homes.
