Barrow 1618 Church of England Primary Free School is a thriving learning community, serving wonderful pupils and their families. As a small rural primary school it is particularly focused on the benefits of outdoor learning, and encourages freedom of spirit and independence of mind. We foster an inclusive, caring partnership between parents, staff, children, the Church and the community – our Barrow Family. We seek to provide children with learning that they’ll remember for a lifetime.
The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint a dedicated and committed School Business Manager. This is a key post in our school. You will be a member of the school leadership team, who will be responsible for all areas of finance, human resources, health & safety, compliance, marketing and administration across the school. We’re looking for someone who will make a real, positive difference in the education of our pupils. This will be achieved by not only managing the school budget, but by providing clear leadership and strategy across all relevant job areas and continue to build upon strong foundations that are currently in place.
This is a great chance to join a school where there are real opportunities to grow and develop as not only an SBM, but a leader as well. This post is open to experienced business managers as well as aspiring business managers who can demonstrate via their experience, competency based skills and aptitudes that are relevant to the role.
