A specialist school in Gateshead is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 6–13 with complex learning difficulties.
Many pupils require additional support with communication, emotional regulation and daily routines.

You will support:
• 1:1 learning tasks
• Small group literacy and numeracy
• Sensory regulation activities
• Personal development and independence skills
Some pupils may require additional practical support during the school day.

Experience & Pay
Experience working with children or vulnerable young people is desirable.
However, candidates who demonstrate the right attitude may be offered the role on a trainee TA scale.
