This is a full time position and would suit an experienced residential property lawyer who is confident managing their own caseload and contributing positively to a supportive, professional team environment. The role You will handle a full range of residential conveyancing matters from initial instruction through to post completion. The work will include: Managing residential sales and purchases Handling remortgage and equity release transactions Dealing with shared ownership leases, variations of lease and new build purchases Handling Help to Buy matters Checking titles for freehold and leasehold properties Dealing with transfers of equity and matrimonial transfers Providing guidance and support to conveyancing assistants within the department Developing and maintaining client contacts in the local area Cross referring work to other departments where appropriate You may also be required to provide cover at other offices within the firm when needed. About you You will be a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer, ideally with 5 years PQE or equivalent experience. You will have: Strong experience handling residential property matters independently The ability to manage a caseload from start to finish with minimal supervision Good local knowledge of the area A professional, client focused and relationship driven approach The ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive working relationships across the firm You will be expected to work to a high standard of competence, care and professionalism, in line with the firm’s policies and procedures.
