Trainee Bookkeeper Job in Ringwood

Duties and Responsibilities
* Support the finance team with day-to-day bookkeeping and administration
* Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately using Xero
* Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end procedures
* Handle administrative duties, including:
* Answering and directing phone calls
* Printing, scanning, filing, and document management
* Ordering and maintaining office stationery and supplies
* Supporting general office organisation and upkeep
* Communicate confidently with clients and suppliers by phone and email
* Adapt to new processes and technologies as the company grows
* Contribute positively to a collaborative, fast-paced office environment
Minimum Skills and Experience Required
* Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science
* Strong communication and telephone skills
* High attention to detail with an adaptable and proactive attitude
* Positive mindset, eager to learn and take on new challenges
* Live within 40-minute commute from Ringwood
* Reliable, flexible, and comfortable working in a changing environment
Desirable
* Basic understanding of bookkeeping or finance
* Experience using Xero or similar accounting software
* Previous experience in an administrative or service-focused role
