365 Moto New Hires Claim Handler - Portuguese Speakers Fully Remote Company Overview: 365 Moto Updates is accountable for efficiently handling accepted 365 New claims in alignment with agreed Targets & Objectives. We aim to ensure that our Non-Fault Claims (Updates) Team effectively meets Service Level Requirements and maintains quality levels as per the agreed Targets and Objectives. Role Overview: Reporting directly to the 365 Moto Team Leader, the Claims Handler is responsible for managing new claims efficiently and effectively within the 365 Moto team. The role involves handling all defined claims tasks and ensuring adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and service level targets. Key Responsibilities: Manage new claims received by the 365 Moto team, handling all defined claims tasks in accordance with company procedures. Adopt a proactive approach to the role, addressing complaints and escalations promptly and professionally. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, including Treating Customers Fairly, DPA, Complaints, and FCA legislation. Facilitate knowledge sharing among team members and across the organization, distributing relevant updates in claims legislation. Respond promptly to incoming calls and correspondence via telephone, email, and letter, maintaining proactive communication. Capture accurate and comprehensive data in Proclaim, completing all relevant fields to ensure compliance and quality standards. Identify areas for additional training and actively participate in team meetings, appraisals, and assessment sessions. Lead by example, inspiring and motivating team members to uphold the company's values of Integrity, Passion, Innovation, and Excellence. Represent the values and culture of the Group, exhibiting conduct and performance in line with organizational ethos. Engage in continuous self-development and undertake any other duties as assigned by the Line Manager or Senior Staff. Knowledge and Experience: Previous claims management experience is advantageous. Good working knowledge of claims processes and procedures. Understanding of company products, services, and organizational structure. Familiarity with hierarchy and escalation protocols. Excellent technical claims knowledge. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates good time management and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Ability to simplify complex issues. Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards the role.
