We're currently recruiting for a skilled and compassionate Practice Nurse to join a well-supported healthcare service based across East and West Sussex. This is a rewarding role providing primary care to employees on a client site. About the Role:
You will be responsible for managing your own clinical caseload, assessing and treating patients with minor illnesses and injuries, and supporting wider health and wellbeing initiatives. Working alongside GPs and nursing colleagues, you’ll contribute to a high-quality, patient-centred service.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and organise your own workload on a daily basis
Work collaboratively with GPs, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare professionals
Provide treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, referring on where appropriate
Deliver care and treatment under agreed protocols and guidelines (e.g., PGDs)
Manage a range of services including travel health and family planning
Support audits, staff development, and training
Help ensure Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) compliance across the service
Actively contribute to infection control initiativesWhat You’ll Bring:
Current RGN and NMC registration
Completion of STIP course or equivalent
Experience working with PGDs
A flexible, team-oriented attitude
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong understanding of clinical governance and safeguarding
