Product Safety Advisor – 12 Month Contract
Join Games Workshop as a Product Safety Advisor on a 12–14 month contract to support and advise on General Merchandise, Christmas ranges, and Licensed Products. You will work closely with the Buying team, Licensing team, and Licensees, ensuring products consistently meet legal requirements and Games Workshop’s Product Safety requirements.
Responsibilities
* Manage product safety through clear communication of policies, standards, and documentation that Licensees must follow.
* Evaluate and test samples to support assigned categories and the wider Games Workshop product range.
* Maintain a framework of processes that demonstrate regulatory compliance and risk mitigation, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and quality, with supporting documentation.
* Incorporate new regulations and regulatory trends into company requirements across existing and new markets.
* Collaborate with internal and external teams, providing prompt, clear, and courteous feedback to reach effective solutions.
* Ensure every Warhammer product meets the highest safety standards, protecting Games Workshop’s reputation.
Qualifications
* Experience in a product development or technical role in hard goods or children’s products.
* Background in compliance or product testing and a desire to develop knowledge across product categories and global markets.
* Proactive with strong instincts for what needs to be achieved, monitoring regulations and trends.
* Decisive, detail‑oriented, and pragmatic approach to documentation and checks.

Working Conditions
