To support this, we’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Examinations Manager to lead and enhance our examinations provision—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless experience for learners across the Group.
About The Role
As Examinations Manager, you will lead and manage the examinations function across Trafford & Stockport College Group, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all exam entries, registrations, and accreditations. You’ll oversee a team of Examinations Team Leaders and work closely with the Head of MI: Business Intelligence and Reporting to ensure student data and electronic exam information are handled efficiently. This role is pivotal in maintaining compliance with JCQ and awarding body regulations, and you’ll take the lead on developing and managing key college policies and procedures related to examinations.

* Lead and manage the Examinations Team across Trafford & Stockport College Group, ensuring high standards of service and compliance.
* Oversee the full lifecycle of examination processes including registrations, entries, scheduling, and accreditation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Maintain secure handling and dispatch of examination papers, scripts, and assessments in line with awarding body regulations.
* Develop and implement robust policies and procedures to ensure compliance with JCQ and awarding body requirements.
* Collaborate with the Head of MI to ensure efficient management of student data and electronic exam information.
* Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance examination operations and learner experience.

* Confidence using data systems, particularly for managing student records and electronic exam information.
