About the Role
Our client is an independent, world-class manufacturer of Cleanroom, Laboratory, and Healthcare equipment based in Newhaven. They are looking for a Project Design Engineer working within the Design Department, providing engineering support and
project control on a range of products including specialist equipment for Cleanrooms, Laboratories and Hospitals.
Role Responsibilities
Supporting the Design Team
Production of working designs and drawings and parts lists for the Production team
Production of purchase items parts lists for the Purchasing Manager
Liaising with Customer by way of issuance of drawings for approval and appropriate e-mail and telephonic communications.
Production of O&M manuals for the Customer
Production of RAMS for installation team
Production of design P&IDs for the Production team
Working upon more than one project at same time, sometimes multiple projects
Skills and Qualifications
Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
Must have industry experience in product design/development
Familiar with 2D & 3D CAD software
An ability to create designs from concept through to final manufactured products.
Knowledge/experience of product design/manufacturing
Ability to interpret customers specifications & evaluate customer products & designs.
Must hold a UK driving licence (Travel is expected to visit clients and sites)
Hours of work
39 hours per week.
7.30 AM to 4.30 PM Monday to Thursday.
7.30 AM to 12.30 PM on Friday
