Contract: 3-6 months FTC (Possibility to go permanent)
Salary: Up to £23,000
Our client is one of the UK’s largest discount retailers, with around 850 stores serving over seven million customers a day across the UK and Ireland.
Role Overview: As PO Coordinator, you will be part of the clothing merchandising team based in Watford, supporting the team with efficient and accurate communication between your team and the international team based in Europe.
You will have the ability to liaise and communicate at various levels within and externally to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the critical path with inputs from two brands within this business.
2. Ensure the delivery of sustainable master data supports the purchase order creation process.
3. Track and report on milestones, ensuring all relevant communication to stakeholders.
4. Manage and structure communication between all relevant stakeholders.
5. Manage communication with direct suppliers and PGS.
6. Maintain the relationship between planning and buying teams; be the point of contact for trading, planning, or purchasing queries.
7. Ensure all queries are managed in a timely manner, minimizing impact on range implementation.
8. Attend all relevant critical path meetings.
9. Maintain accurate PO data to provide a reliable delivery schedule.
10. Check Gold Seal samples for correctness, including labels and ticketing.
11. Report issues and propose solutions.
12. Carry out ad hoc analysis to support planning teams as needed.
