Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role is essential in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the growth and development of young learners. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of children in our care.
Hours will be during a before and after school club setting.
7:20am-8:50am & 3pm-5:30pm
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of each child.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
* Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through play-based activities.
* Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and well-being.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education are met consistently.
* Observe and assess children's development, documenting their progress effectively.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery standards.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in early years education.
Requirements
* Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
* A qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable.
* Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Ability to create engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse needs.
* A valid driving licence may be advantageous for transportation purposes.
