Job Description
We are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Water Solutions team in Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, or Plymouth. This role involves delivering major water infrastructure projects within South West Water and Wessex Waters extensive capital programmes, covering both water and wastewater sectors, and spanning from small rural sites to large multi-million-pound schemes.
You will contribute to frameworks such as:
* South West Water: Engineering Consultancy Services - Lot 3
* Wessex Water: Capital Delivery Partner Framework - Lot 2

Responsibilities
* Electrical and ICA Design: Design and review electrical and ICA components for water infrastructure projects, providing expert advice as needed.
* Quality: Produce and review deliverables, make technical decisions, and identify when specialist input is necessary.
* Project Management: Manage work packages and assess design resources effectively.
* Specification: Prepare technical specifications.
* Collaboration: Work with clients and internal teams to ensure stakeholder buy-in and contribute to technical innovation.
* Mentoring: Delegate tasks, oversee junior staff, and act as a technical mentor.

Qualifications
* Proven experience in managing large-scale water engineering projects with multidisciplinary knowledge.
* Strong collaboration skills with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
* BEng or MEng in a related engineering field, with water/wastewater treatment experience.
* Chartered Member of a relevant Professional Institution.
