About The Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled iOS Developer to join our newly established cross-functional team at Blue Light Card. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative mobile applications that enhance our members' experience. As part of our tech team, you will play a pivotal role in our transition to a modern, serverless environment, supporting the replatforming project that aims to redefine our app offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in iOS development, with a keen eye for creating intuitive, scalable, and high-performance mobile solutions. This role offers the chance to work on greenfield projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and make a tangible impact on our user community.
Qualifications
* Proven expertise in Swift and SwiftUI, with extensive experience in UIKit, Storyboards, and Swift packages.
* Strong background in building scalable, high-quality mobile applications for iOS platforms.
* Experience implementing robust testing frameworks using XCTest and TestFlight.
* Proficiency with version control systems such as GitHub and CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions.
* Knowledge of shared business logic development using Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) for cross-platform consistency.
* Familiarity with analytics tools like Amplitude, push notification services such as Braze, Firebase Crashlytics, and payment integrations like Stripe.
* Experience working with server-driven UI and deploying serverless applications on cloud platforms like AWS.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
* Ability to mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain high-quality, readable, and efficient mobile applications aligned with Blue Light Card standards.
* Participate actively in the mobile community of practice, advocating best practices and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
* Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
* Implement and maintain comprehensive unit and UI tests to enhance application stability and performance.
* Diagnose and resolve bugs, performance issues, and bottlenecks to optimize user experience.
* Support automated build, testing, and deployment processes to enable rapid and reliable release cycles.
* Document technical requirements, specifications, and decisions to maintain a clear knowledge base for ongoing development.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, integrating relevant innovations into our development processes.
