Must Have’s
• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field (Electrical, IT or Computer science) • At least 2 years’ experience in mechanical, electrical, or BMS systems• Strong understanding of mission-critical infrastructure and data centre operations• Proven skills in testing, troubleshooting, and fault resolution• Excellent documentation and reporting skills• Willingness to travel to sites and adapt to dynamic project needs
Nice to have’s
• Experience with Trend or Tridium BMS systems• Background in network configuration and server setup• Familiarity with QA processes and commissioning documentation• Client-facing experience in high-pressure, live environments• Knowledge of both UK and international commissioning standards
So what will you be doing?
• Developing specialist skills in either BMS Development or Commissioning & PPM• Supporting the deployment and maintenance of data centre control systems• Conducting on-site system testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting• Leading commissioning teams to ensure project specifications are met• Programming and configuring BMS hardware/software for live environments• Maintaining documentation for QA, testing, and system handovers• Engaging directly with clients to deliver high operational standards• Driving continuous improvement and innovation across technical solutions
